THERE WILL BE CLUB TICKETS for Jimmy in AC August 13. I will need to know if you want them by 8 PM tonight (25 May 2016) so I can give the coordinator a count by tomorrow at noon. Due to what happened for Camden, I MUST have a check sent to my house, 305 Willow Rd, Oreland, PA 19075, IMMEDIATELY. Also include a stamped self-addressed envelope so I can send you your tickets. (If we don't get all the tickets we want, your check will be returned.) To repeat, email me your request, then go to the post office and send me your check. The Club will absorb the $20 fedex charge.
Again, I must know by 8 PM tonight to make the deadline.
Finz up!

Hi all,
I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed being President of the Phinz very much from 2013 to 2015. It was my pleasure to serve as "leader" of our group. We achieved so much over the past two years. We raised a lot of money for charity and had a lot of fun in doing so.
We co-hosted the 1st Annual One Particular Phlocking and had such an awesome time, the music was fabulous and the event was so much fun.. All of the attendees told us this was a favorite event for them and it was run very well. It had been a dream of mine to have an Mid-Atlantic music event just like that for quite some time and it finally happened. In 2016 our second annual event is happening from April 29th to May 1st with wall to wall music and lots of great fun. Don't forget to register, many of your fellow Phinz are attending, and you don't want to miss out on all the fun.
During the last two years we raised over $8400 for charity, please give yourself a big pat on the back, that is an awesome # and I am so proud of our club.
As of January 1st, I will be turning over the reigns to Gail Kenney as the new Board President. Tony Kenney will be the VP in charge of Events, newsletters and activities. Joanna Auiler will be remaining as VP in charge of Administration and Membership and Debbie Craig will remain as Secretary, and Regina Minnucci will remain as the Treasurer for the upcoming year. We have also made some changes to the By-Laws and there will be (2) additional At-Large positions with a term of 1 year and also a past President can sit on the board with a term of one year to act in an advisory role.
Please join me in welcoming Gail to her new role as President, and Tony in his new role of Vice President!
I wish you all a wonderful 2016, Happy New Year to you all! I look forward to seeing you at our events in 2016.
Thanks

Hello again,
NOMINATIONS ARE DUE BY NOV. 7TH !
I wanted to let you know that due to personal and medical reasons I will not be running for President in 2016. Thank you all for your support, I'll still be around, just not able to run the club for the next few years.
I am so happy to see all of you at events, and many of you have stepped up to help the club in so many ways during the last two years. Why not consider stepping up and steering the ship? There are two offices up for election. President and Vice President of Events, both of these offices are so important to the health and vitality of the club. Would you like to see some changes? Would you like to continue what has been started over the past two years? Either way, please consider throwing your hat in the ring.
Do you know someone who you think would be great in one of these spots, talk to them and see if they will agree, then nominate them, it's that easy. Nominations are due by Nov 7th, so please don't delay. If we have multiple people running for these offices, we will then have an election and the starting date would be Nov 16th and ending on Nov 30th.
The President will be the chief executive officer, preside at the meetings of the Board of Directors, and be responsible for all duties, which normally pertain to his/her office. The President shall be subject to the advice and consent of the Board of Directors. The President and/or the Board of Directors has the authority to appoint an Ad Hoc committee deemed appropriate at any time whether listed in these by-laws or not. This is a 2 year term.
The Vice-President of Operations shall assist the Vice-President of Administration in his or her duties and shall officiate in his/her absence. He/she will be responsible for the newsletter, web page and any other publication produced by the club; and all charitable, social, environmental activities of the club. This is a 2 year term.
To Run for an office on the Board of Directors, a member must be in "good standing" and must have been a member for a minimum of six months.
Please forward your nomination along with a paragraph explaining why the nominee should be elected to this position and what their plans are for the future of the club.
ALL NOMINATIONS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED BY November 7th, 2015 VIA E-MAIL TO GAIL KENNEY, our election coordinator AT [email protected]
Thanks so much Gail, for helping with the elections for us again this year.
I gotta go where it's warm!

Hi Everyone,
Please consider walking or making a donation to the Alzheimer's Walk. This is a special charity that PHIP is supporting and would like all of the PHC Chapters to embrace and have an event to support next year. Many of our sister clubs had events this year.
One of our members, Jennifer Miescke, is walking in this event and has provided information if you want to join her and walk. For those of you who are not able to join, donations can be made at: Alzheimer’s Walk at Citizens Bank Park on Nov. 8th, 2015 from 10:00am-2:00pm
and you can support a fellow Philly Phinz by clicking this link and donating.
